1. About us
These Terms govern your use of the Empowered Earners Community website, membership and digital products ("Service"), operated by Empowered Earners Community ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or purchasing a membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Eligibility & account
You confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction and have authority to enter this agreement. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Educational nature of the Service
The Service provides general tax-literacy education for Indian taxpayers, including videos, written content, templates and community discussions. It is not professional tax, legal, accounting or financial advice. You remain solely responsible for filings, decisions and outcomes. For specific situations, consult a qualified Chartered Accountant or tax advisor.
4. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service, including: unlawful activity, fraud or spam, infringing intellectual-property rights, uploading malware, probing or scraping the platform, sharing your account credentials, or redistributing paid content outside the membership.
5. Intellectual property
All course videos, written material, templates, branding and software are owned by Empowered Earners Community and protected by copyright. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the content for your personal, non-commercial learning within your purchased plan. Reverse engineering, resale and circumvention of access limits are prohibited.
6. User content
You retain ownership of content you post in community spaces. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and display it solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for the content you submit and must not post anything illegal, defamatory or infringing.
7. Payments, billing & taxes
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer-service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, applicable taxes, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for our refund window.
8. Service availability
We work hard to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
9. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for: material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated/serious policy violations. On termination, your right to access paid content ends; we may retain records as required by law.
10. Disclaimers & liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profit, data or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your user content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the seller's place of business shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your jurisdiction.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
